Star Charge, a subsidiary of China's State Grid Corporation, has announced plans to build a new EV charging network across Europe

Star Charge, a subsidiary of China's State Grid Corporation, has announced plans to build a new EV charging network across Europe, with a focus on fast-charging stations. The new network will be built in collaboration with European energy companies and will include both AC and DC fast-charging stations.

The company plans to deploy more than 10,000 charging points across Europe in the next five years, with a focus on key locations such as highways, cities, and suburbs. The charging points will be compatible with a wide range of EV models and will be designed to provide fast and convenient charging for long-distance travel.

According to Liu Zhenya, Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China, "We're committed to promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and supporting the transition to a more sustainable transportation system. By building a new EV charging network in Europe, we're providing EV drivers with more options and making it easier for them to travel long distances without worrying about range anxiety."

This initiative by Star Charge is a significant investment in the expansion of EV charging infrastructure and the promotion of sustainable transportation. With more and more companies investing in EV charging infrastructure, we can expect to see continued growth in the EV market and a shift towards a more sustainable transportation system.
